It is really important to find as many records as you can about each ancestor. Make sure you try different search options when looking for documents. For example, if you were looking for Paul Hansen and you include his wife's name in the search fields it would only show you Paul's life records as a married adult. You would be missing his childhood records. Try all of the different combinations of your ancestor to make sure you have found as many records as you can. There will be different dates and people listed on almost all of the different records which will help you piece together their life.
